The mission of the Grapevine Sailing Club's Junior Program is to develop knowledgeable junior sailors while instilling in them a love for the sport of sailing that will serve as a foundation for the future of our club and our sport.

GSC has partnered with GCSEF (Grapevine Community Sailing Education Fund) to train and coach the Jr sailing team. GCSEF hosts a summer camp every year which teaching 150+ kids to sail from our community. May of our Jr sailors have been to camp and gone on to coach at the summer camp.

About Us

Grapevine Community Sailing Education Fund (GCSEF) is a publicly supported non-profit corporation 501 (c) 3 established to support Sailing Education  & competitive sailboat racing activities for junior sailors in North Texas.

Our mission is to educate sailors in North Texas. We provide summer sailing classes for Juniors which are an excellent way for kids age 8-16 to learn to sail or improve their skills. We teach everything from the basics to racing, but our main focus is on FUN.

In addition, we now have learn to sail classes for adults.  Whether you want to learn to sail a large Keelboat or a small dinghy, we can get you up to speed quickly.

We also provide a boat charter program that allows sailors to transition into the racing program. The racing program allows kids to advance in the sport learning the basics of racing. Through our volunteer support organization, we help students race in the Optimist, Laser, and 420 class boats. So students of all ages and skills are able to participate.
