We are so excited to welcome you to the 2024 Gold Rush Regatta taking place on September 13th - 15th, 2024 on Lake Grapevine, in Grapevine, Texas! As many of you know, this regatta is one of GSC's largest racing events! Over 30 on-the-lake and off-the-lake boats participate each year in this weekend-long regatta. We aim for at least 5 races over the weekend which starts on Friday night with races Saturday & Sunday, including breakfast both days, a big party Saturday night, and lunch and awards on Sunday afternoon.

This Regatta is also a fundraiser for Grapevine Fire Department's Loan A Life Jacket Program. The Loan a Life Jacket stations have been put in place by the Grapevine Fire Department in an effort to prevent drowning incidents. This program encourages Grapevine Lake visitors to borrow a life jacket from one of the life jacket trees that have been put in place at various lake park locations.  The Grapevine Fire Department put the life jacket stations in place in memory of James McKenzie, a Grapevine firefighter/paramedic, and rescue diver who drowned at Grapevine Lake while off duty. Grapevine Sailing Club is honored to partner with our local Fire Department in such a worthy cause!

0930 - Skipper’s Meeting 

1100 - First warning signal for race 1. (Additional races to follow) 

Lunch on the water; (lunch is not provided, be sure to bring your own) 

1730 - Refreshments

1800 - Dinner, Auction, and After Party

1000 - First warning signal Additional races may follow. There are five races scheduled for the regatta 

1300 - No start warning signal will be made after 1300 on Sunday.
Following Racing:  Refreshments, lunch, and trophy presentation will be on Sunday as soon as possible after racing.
