We are so excited to welcome you to the 2024 Mayor’s Cup Regatta taking place on April 26-28th, 2024 on Lake Grapevine, in Grapevine, Texas! As many of you know, this s a renowned regatta that happens to be one of Grapevine Sailing Club’s oldest racing event. We aim for 5 or more races over the weekend which starts on Friday night with races Saturday & Sunday, including breakfast both days, a big party Saturday night, and lunch and awards on Sunday afternoon. 

This Regatta is also a fundraiser for our community junior sailing program: Grapevine Community Sailing Education Foundation (GCSEF). GCSEF is a publicly supported non-profit corporation 501 (c) 3 established to support sailing education & competitive sailboat racing activities for junior sailors in north Texas. This program does a great job at teaching youth how to sail in a fun, educational, and team-oriented atmosphere! We are so excited to help support the sailing education of our youth!

Saturday, June 22nd, 2024

0730 - Complimentary Breakfast 

0800 - Registration Closes 

0930 - Skipper’s Meeting 

1100 - First warning signal for race 1. (Additional races to follow) 

Lunch on the water; (lunch is not provided, be sure to bring your own) 

1730 - Refreshments, Silent, and Live Auction 

1800 - Dinner, and your favorite refreshments 

2000 - Silent Auction Closes 

Sunday, June 23rd, 2024

1000 - First warning signal Additional races may follow. There are five races scheduled for the regatta 

1300 - No start warning signal will be made after 1300 on Sunday.
Following Racing:  Refreshments, lunch, and trophy presentation will be on Sunday as soon as possible after racing.
